Flower parade and other nice things

Can’t write a long post today… I have a myositis in my right arm so I have to go easy with it. But I could not resist to show you all these beautiful may flowers, the Lilac and the Lilly of the Valley are filling our house with a great scent. They are from my mother-in-law’s garden all I had to do is to take them home with me :0) The roses I bought in my favorit grocery and flowermarket. This place is just fantastic but not very cheap. I payed forteen Euros for a hand full of these beautiful first Eden Roses oft he year (I have two Eden shrubs of my own but hey, can’t wait till they bloom)... Lilly was fascinated seeing all these flowers.
The best news, our new little stove arrived. We love it. The colour is perfect and it is so cozy sitting here and watching the fire burn, the cats purr and loll while enjoying the warmth. Wish you all a perfect week, Love Mira!

Kann heute nicht viel schreiben… habe eine Muskelentzündung im rechten Arm und muss ihn schonen. Aber ich konnte nicht widerstehen Euch all die schönen Maiblumen zu zeigen. Den Flieder und die Glöckchen habe ich aus Schwiegermamas Garten ich musste sie nur mit nach Hause nehmen :0) Die Rosen sind aus meinem Lieblings Blumen- und Gemüseladen. Ein toller Ort aber nicht wirklich als günstig zu bezeichnen. Habe 14 Euro für eine Handvoll Eden Rosen - die ersten des Jahres – bezahlt (und ich habe selbst zwei Büsche aber hey, ich konnte einfach nicht warten bis sie blühn)… Lilly war ganz fasziniert von all den vielen Blumen.
Die besten Neuigkeiten, unser neuer kleiner Gussofen ist endlich da. Wir lieben ihn heiß und innig. Die Farbe ist perfekt und es ist so gemütlich hier einfach nur zu sitzen und den Flammen zuzusehen während die Katzen schnurren, sich räkeln und die Wärme genießen. May is here

This weekend I slept a lot, when I say a lot I mean it. I still feel tired and every bone and muscel hurts but everything will be fine again! There is still waiting tremendously much work to be done. Sometimes I ask myself for what am I doing all this?! Why creating, why photographing, why starting a shoppe? I have a job, this job and our house and garden should be enough work. Well, I am a creative person and I adore the beautiful things in life. Creating something is magic. Taking pictures of a marvellous moment and making it last forever is breathtaking! And even though I’m tired I must do this all. For my soul… this all is part of me and completes me! So I will go on.. tired or not!

Please, if you have sent me an e-mail and now waiting for an answer, be patient, I will try to answer all the mails. But this also takes a lot of time writing back and communicating I will do my best.

Our little quince tree is blooming the first time - so beautiful. Also our Lilacs have their first umbels. Andi f you could smell all our herbs - simply delicious! Oregano, Thyme, Sage, Tarragon, Savory, Salad Burnet, Marjoram, Borage, Mint and Sweet Woodruff a great potpourri of odors.

Dieses Wochenende habe ich sehr viel geschlafen, und wenn ich sage viel, dann meine ich das auch. Noch immer fühle ich mich erschlagen, jeder Knochen und Muskel schmerzt aber es wird alles wieder gut! Es wartet auch jetzt noch eine Menge Arbeit auf mich und manchmal frage ich mich, warum ich mir das alles antu?! Warum kreativ sein, warum fotografieren, warum einen Laden eröffnen? Ich habe einen Job und dieser Job sowie unser Haus und Garten sind eigentlich Arbeit genug. Nun bin ich aber kreativ und ich liebe die schönen Dinge des Lebens. Etwas entwerfen und bei der Entstehung Teil des Ganzen zu sein ist magisch. Ein Bild eines wundervollen und einzigartigen Moments für die Ewigkeit zu bannen ist atemberaubend! Auch wenn ich müde bin, ich werde nicht müde dies alles zu tun. Für meine Seele… das ist alles Teil von mir und vervollständigt mein sein.

Falls Ihr mir in der letzten Zeit Mails geschickt habt, bitte ich Euch um viel Geduld, aber ich werde alle nach und nach beantworten und in die Pötte kommen – auch dies nimmt nun mal viel Zeit in Anspruch, ich werde mein bestes geben.

Unser kleines Quittenbäumchen blüht heuer zum ersten Mal - so schön. Auch die Flieder tragen Ihre ersten Dolden zur Schau. Wenn ihr nur unsere Kräuter riechen könntet - einfach köstlich! Oregano, Thymian, Salbei, Estragon, Bohnenkraut, Pimpinelle, Majoran, Borretsch, Minze und Waldmeister - ein Potpourri der Gerüche!
