Leider bin ich am Wochenende nicht dazu gekommen mir frische Blumen zu kaufen, also habe ich Etwas Katzenminze und ein anderes Blümchen (weiß leider nicht den Namen dieser Schönheit) von meiner Terrasse geholt und in ein kleines Väschen getan. Das ist meine Lieblingsecke in meinem Wohnzimmer... hier sieht man auch unseren wunderschönen Eichendielenboden. Er ist weiß gewachst und geölt und passt farblich prima in unser Haus. So sieht Marjolijn mal meinen Holzboden :0) Dann habe ich auch mal mein Franske Stemmninger Buch geknippst... demnächst werde ich ein Bild von meinen liebsten Einrichtungsbüchern machen und für Euch einstellen als kleinen "must have"(ich hasse diesen Ausdruck mitlerweile selbst) shopping tipp...

This is my dearest corner in my living room... here you can see our beautiful oak floor. The boards are white waxed and oiled and the colour fits great in our new house. So Marjolijn you can see my oak floor :0) Than I took a photo of my favorit interior book "Franske Stemmninger"... Soon I will take a photo of all my favorite interior books for you as a "must have" (I hate this phrase) shopping list....

Hallo Mira. Du hasst wirklich ein schönes Wohnzimmer. Das Buch Frankse Stemninger werde ich Ende Juni auch bekommen. Leider hatte ich beim Ersten Druck daneben gegriffen. Ich freuhe mich schon sehr darauf.

Was für eine herrlich gemütliche Atmosphäre in Eurem Wohnzimmer! Und ich sehe viele tolle Details, die ich so gerne mag: Schrank, weisse Stühle, Madonnenbilder- und Statuen usw. usw. Ja, unser Holzboden sieht jetzt genau so aus wie bei Euch; gestern habe ich ihn nochmal mit weissem Oel eingeölt und das macht alles noch heller. Heute muss ich noch einen braunen Stuhl weiss anstreichen und dann können wir unsere Möbel wieder ins Esszimmer reinstellen. Ich freue mich schon auf Deine Büchertipps! Ich habe 2 Bücher von Dorrit Elmquist und verschiedene andere Werke von Busse & Seewald, die besonders schöne Bücher herausgeben. Herzliche Grüsse und DANKE für die schönen Bilder!

I've seen homes with nothing but bright white and the effect is often too clinical and a bit dull as none of the furniture stands out. I'm starting to appreciate my cream-colored kitchen cabinets more every minute ;-)
